Challenge
• Original implementation is heavily customized (framework overwrites, class duplication), contains redundant code (hard to maintain) and unnecessary execution points.
• The environment experience frequent outages and is often slow to react.
• Service Desk is unable to monitor the environment and check request statuses causing a reactive service instead of a proactive one.
• Problem investigation and resolution is handled only by Papyrus consultants, locking resources in tasks that could be handled by Service Desk directly.
